Important Legal Agreement
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using InfoX. By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you are using InfoX on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using InfoX services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services.
2. Definitions
- "Service" refers to the InfoX information platform and all related services
- "User" refers to any individual or entity accessing or using our Service
- "Content" refers to all data, text, information, and materials available through the Service
- "Account" refers to the unique account created for accessing the Service
- "Subscription" refers to the paid plan selected by the User
3. Use of Service
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must be legally authorized to represent your organization if registering on its behalf
Acceptable Use
- Use the Service only for lawful business purposes
- Comply with all applicable Norwegian and international laws
- Respect the intellectual property rights of others
- Not attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
Prohibited Uses
- Using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfering with or disrupting the Service
- Using automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Reselling or redistributing Service data without authorization
- Using the Service to harass, stalk, or harm individuals
4. User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- We reserve the right to refuse or terminate accounts at our discretion
Account Security
- Keep your password secure and confidential
- Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
- Do not share your account with others
- You are liable for any damages resulting from unauthorized account access
5. Subscriptions and Payment
Subscription Plans
- Various subscription tiers are available with different features and limits
- Free trials may be offered at our discretion
- Subscription features and pricing may change with notice
- Custom enterprise plans are available upon request
Billing
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- All fees are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK) unless otherwise stated
- Prices exclude applicable taxes (MVA)
- Payment is due upon receipt of invoice
Refunds and Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial months or unused services
- Annual subscriptions may be eligible for pro-rated refunds at our discretion
6. Data and Content
Service Data
- All data provided through the Service is sourced from official Norwegian registries
- We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party data
- Data is provided "as is" without warranties
- You are responsible for verifying data accuracy for critical decisions
User Content
- You retain ownership of content you create using the Service
- You grant us a license to use your content for Service operation
- You are responsible for the legality of your content
- We may remove content that violates these terms
Intellectual Property
- InfoX owns all rights to the Service and its proprietary technology
- You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer the Service
- Trademarks and logos are property of their respective owners
- You may use Service data only as permitted by your subscription
7. API Usage
API Access
- API access is available for Professional and Enterprise plans
- API usage is subject to rate limits and quotas
- API keys must be kept secure and confidential
- We may suspend API access for abuse or excessive usage
API Terms
- Do not use the API to compete with InfoX services
- Attribute data to InfoX when displaying to end users
- Comply with all API documentation and guidelines
- We may modify or discontinue API features with notice
8. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with GDPR and Norwegian data protection laws. Our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms, describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using our Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Warranties and Disclaimers
Service Availability
- We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
- Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
- We are not liable for downtime beyond our control
- Service levels may vary based on subscription tier
Disclaimer of Warranties
- The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE"
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
- We do not warrant that the Service will meet all your requirements
- Use of the Service is at your own risk
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Norwegian law, InfoX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless InfoX and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
Termination by You
- You may terminate your account at any time through account settings
- Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations
- Your data may be deleted after termination per our retention policy
Termination by InfoX
- We may suspend or terminate your account for Terms violations
- We may terminate service with 30 days notice for any reason
- Immediate termination may occur for serious violations
- No refunds will be provided for termination due to violations
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Oslo, Norway.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or Service announcement at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement
- These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and InfoX regarding the Service
Severability
- If any provision is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect
Waiver
- Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision
Assignment
- You may not assign these Terms without our written consent
Force Majeure
- We are not liable for failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
